Kabocha Squash

The appearance

Marbled dark olive-green skin. Slightly striped. Occasionally a yellow spot appears on the support base.

The flavour

Sweet, rich and tasty. Flavour reminiscent of sweet potatoes or roasted chestnuts.

The best

Gourmet squash of Japanese origin that is gaining popularity among chefs and consumers. Suitable for the preparation of “Japanese tempura”, pasta filling or pumpkin soup.
